To County Delegates!
Dear Delegate,
Congratulations on being selected as a Millard County Delegate! It can be very difficult in many areas to earn a County delegate seat and you are fulfilling a great purpose. There is no greater grass roots political activity than being chosen to represent your neighbors who you closely associate with and know on a personal basis. You have discovered what so many in America don’t comprehend: There is no more effective way to achieve positive and meaningful change in your community than to be a representative of your community and residents as a delegate.
Consider this…you literally represent, with a single vote, the power and authority to act on behalf of hundreds, and sometimes thousands of fellow republican voters. WOW! Unless you successfully campaign as an elected official, you can have no more effective conduit to deliver real change in your community. You personally shape the conservative face of your home and neighborhood as a delegate! Never discount the opportunity you have to make a significant, lasting, and meaningful difference.
Our challenge as true conservatives is to elect, support, and defend Republicans that demonstrate by their actions that they are true conservatives as well, not just polished politicians.
There is no greater threat to the Republican Party and conservatism, no greater threat to our Constitution, our Republic, and ultimately America, than the damage done from within. It is our duty, obligation, and responsibility as conservative Republicans to extend our circle of influence in maintaining our sacred freedom, liberty, and God-given rights we enjoy as Americans. God gave us this sacred honor, and we will defend it.

from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and
defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a
people." Governor Ronald Reagan - January 5, 1967
Biography
I was born and raised in Delta, Utah, attending Delta Elementary School and Delta High School, graduating in 1981. During high school I was employed in agriculture with a local farmer in the Abraham, Utah area.
At age 16, I could hunt big game and get that coveted drivers license. At 18 years old, I attended Southern Utah State College. I took a break at 19 to teach the good word in Rome, Italy. Upon returning home, I again went back to school and attended college at Utah Valley State College and Brigham Young University.
In 1989, I was lucky enough to marry “up” in life and convinced the former Stephannie Gordon of Spanish Fork, UT that she could not go on in life without me. Contrary to her better judgment, she gave in and has found herself stuck with me for eternity, which she has no doubt since determined, is a really long time.
I was employed at WordPerfect Corporation and then Novell Inc. for 9+ years in Utah County. I had the opportunity to work with several large corporations around the United States and the world; my areas of primary responsibility were Southern Europe and South America. During that time working as an International R&D Manager and later as International Localization Director I was deeply involved with the high tech computer software market and was instrumental in establishing software support centers in Milan Italy, Athens Greece and San Paulo Brazil
After years living in Utah County, Stephannie and I felt a commitment to our family and a desire to raise our children in a strong family valued community so we decided to move back to Delta, Millard County. That decision has definitely been worth it and it continues to benefit our family each day.
Today, when I am not working at my insurance agency, I spend most of my free time with family. We have 4 beautiful daughters that are very involved in school events and can be found on the basketball court, soccer field, softball field or spending time ATV’ing and camping.
Our family stays busy with our faith but has found time to take some family vacations. We have taken the kids to Disneyland, (the happiest place on earth) many camping adventures and even a cruise.
As the kids grew, we spent our time at recreation softball games, basketball, chorus recitals, and even a little dancing. Anybody that knows me will tell you I love spending time outside in our yard and garden, I tell people it is great therapy.
About 2+ years ago I was elected to serve on the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce; I have really enjoyed working with so many wonderful people in our community and county. During the past 2 years we have worked hard to promote local events, one in particular is the annual Snow Goose Festival.
With my employment I have been heavily involved in the housing industry, more specifically in a past life home financing and now insurance. I currently enjoy working with many county residents as they put their trust in me to help protect some of their most valuable assets.
I am passionate about the future of Millard County and have a vested interest in this place that each of us call home. I am excited about the opportunity to be in a position as Millard County Commissioner. I hope that each of us will do our part to preserve the freedoms that so many have given their lives for and protect the quality of life that we enjoy here in Millard County.
Sincerely,
Reggie R. Bliss
